The next morning, we woke up early to have breakfast and collect complimentary snorkeling gear from Recreation Office near our room... The staffs advised us to swim at the area near sandbank to check out corals and fishes...
On our way to Recreation Center |
Woohoo! Excited! |
The hotel also provided beach bag for us to store all our stuffs... How convenient...
So, before snorkeling, we took some vain looking pictures first...
Sunbeds are empty at this hour |
Hubby tried to be a lifeguard |
Nobody is drowning with this pelampung! |
Vain time with my pareo |
Whee |
Compulsory pre-jump shot |
Phew! Finally a nice shot |
After all the jumping, we relaxed ourselves on our sunbeds
As temperature rises, I moved to read by the sea |
Sejuk dan selesa |
At 10.30am, we began swimming!
After a few hours of snorkeling, we retired ourselves to slumber land
Drying our swimwear |
After we've recharged ourselves, we went over to our sunbeds area to collect powdered sands as souvenir...
We also explored the rest of the island to check how other rooms look like... They all looked the same generally... Only the beach view is different
Mini mosque |
Restaurant area |
While waiting for the restaurant to open, we took some pictures of fishes swimming near the lights... The restaurants lit up the area around it to attract black tip sharks and coral fishes
Plenty of sharks swam by at night |
We dined at Vihamana again because the food was too good to resist... We had Maldivian nasi goreng that night and it was sooooooo good... They changed the menu daily to prevent guests getting bored with their food...
At the end of the day, we realized we had severe sunburn on our backs from snorkeling... Our skin had this angry red color and it's stinging like crazy... My husband had a uniform toasted red back while mine was patchy...
No more sexy back
