Silver Lining

Here I am in a very quiet office writing a blog entry (it's lunch time now, though)... Today is my 9th day at the job in a new company... I changed job a while ago due to many unhappy reasons... I was at a Chinaman company for a month and it was a nightmare...

I joined as an outsource staff thinking it was okay as the office was quite near to where I stay and the job function was interesting... Upon joining the first day, I was in deep shock and I knew I'm in trouble... I'm too used to US based company culture and the China based company system is totally strict and downright rigid... I was assigned to handle a project alone with zero experience and lousy mandarin... The pressure was too much and I was being bombarded everyday by the top managements and customers... Let alone that, I'm so broke after diligently paying parking fees as much as RM8 per day and non-claimable!!! They are clever to miss out this details when I went for interview, though...

I'm glad that it's all over now... I'm really happy to be back at US based company... It saved my life and my relationship, and MY WALLET... People here are really nice and the job itself is interesting... My current focus now is my new place at Maluri... The place is ancient and dusty... I can't wait to get it cleaned and make the place habitable again...
